Office 15 Reached The ‘Technical Preview’ Milestone

It’s official, Office 15 is the codename for the next generation of the Microsoft Office Products and Services, and as the CVP of development in Microsoft Office Division PJ Hough announced today: Microsoft will update the cloud services, servers, mobile and PC clients for office, Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, Lync, Project, and Visio simultaneously, let’s wait the public beta to be released to the public this summer and see the new cool stuff from Microsoft this year.

Speaking at Applied Science University – Jordan

As part of the course “Special Topics: Career Development” at Applied Science University in Jordan, I’m speaking in the Information Technology Faculty on January 19th, 2012.

This session will be about “Portals in Enterprise: Examining SharePoint Platform”, and the topics include:

1. Portals evolution
2. SharePoint as an enterprise portal
3. Composite development in SharePoint
4. SharePoint in the cloud

Speaking at Expotech Palestine (Again)

 

Last year, I spoke at the Expotech Conference in Palestine. They kindly invited me to speak again this year. The speaking tour will start on November 28 until the 1st of December and will take place in four universities in different Palestinian cities.

I will be giving talks about “Understanding Application Lifecycle Management and Custom Development”, “Understanding Cloud Platforms”, and “SharePoint Composite Development”.
